I din't know what to call this, because i'm not sure if it refers to outlook, or what it is, but when I am on the blog, people post email addresses so we could add each other to messenger. But after it is posted it reads:
send mail link mail
rather than the original email address that was posted. I click on it, and it tells me the following:
could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not installed propperly.
Does anyone know why that is? Do I need to have outlook? If so, what do I need to do to install it, etc? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to be able to talk to some of these people on messenger because they seem really cool, so I hope someone will be able to help me out.

Hi Ashley, so long as you have outlook, Eudora, or any mail client installed, these links should work. HTH.

Ok, well apparently my computer used to have outlook express, but after my computer got that spyware or virus that got a hold of my programs, I no longer have it. When I click on it in the start menu/programs, it gives me a "missing shortcut" dialog box. Is there any way i can restore it?

You probably need to reinstall it. I had the same thing happen with a really old computer of mine, and I had to completely reinstall Outlook Express. You should be able to type it into Google and figure out where to install it from that way.
